A contemporary townhouse built on contrast. A folded staircase in matte black steel stands against smooth plaster walls and large-format floors, and sets the tone for the rest of the house.

Warmth comes from flat-panel oak joinery and handmade Zellige tiles, whose uneven glaze catches the light in the kitchen and bathrooms. Earthy colours, black accents, clean-lined furniture and brushed brass fittings complete a deliberately short palette.
